The handle and spout are silverplate and the body is cut glass. It has a lidded glass chamber for the interior that holds the ice. The spout has a perforated metal insert to block seeds and other solids from passing through the pitcher. There is “Made in Germany” maker’s mark on the inside of the lid. less
